are leaders in nano-coating solutions. Their technology has been applied to a variety industries, from mobile phones to filtration. In the electronics industry nano-coating provides water protection, in filtration high levels of oil and water repellency are achieved.

My project was to design, write and commission software to control a multi-axis machine for coating web. The software controlled the following:

Unwind / rewind tension
Temperature
Pressure
Mass flow
RF

The project included writing a bespoke PC front end to interface the machine. The front end stores recipes and process data which may also be accessed remotely. No standard templates or function blocks were used, the solution is unique.
